Back again with the third installment of Martinez's re:connected series. Again providing you with two new high quality techno tunes.

On the a-side we present to you the tune: "Tuna Belly", taken from the forthcoming full-length, Martinez album on re:connected, due for release later this year. The track starts off with a pounding, deep kick-drum and a heavy Roland SH-101 baseline. Quickly after, some heavy snares, claps and some underwater-ish bubble sounds enter the groove and the track rolls steadily towards it's peak break down. The baseline is filtered and tweaked through layers of efx into just a high pitched noise that is driven to the edge of excess, at which point it sweeps back into the full groove with a slamming hi-hat, lifting the track to new levels. "Tuna belly" is one of those tracks that will definitely make you go crazy on the dance floor in the later hours.

For the b-side, we offer you this time the first in a series of great "Tool" tracks that Martinez originally only produced for his DJ sets. But, since they have caused such a massive response on the dancefloor in the last couple of months, we felt we should put them on a few of the upcoming re:connected releases as a nice bonus for all you DJ’s out there. "Tool 1.1" is a strong minimal techno beat that just keeps on banging with rolling deep tom’s, heavy rim shot action and rattling clavi sounds for about 8 minutes. Later on some proper 909 hi-hat action gets busy on top of the track's rolling deep bass groove. It gets even more intense with it's bubbling tweaked-out melody towards the end of the track. Truly a great DJ tool for peak-time!
